Ladybird Johnson

This is a design for a Decemberists poster contest. The winner will get printed and used for their show at SXSW where they will peform "The Hazard of Love" (their new album) in entirety. Entirety? Is that a word? I think so. Anyway, apparentally they are obsessed with Ladybird Johnson, so that is why she is front and center.

This is my second poster design for Genre-X, the 20's and 30's book club, hosted by the Oak Park Public Library. I love getting to come up with creative ideas when I'm given great themes to begin with. This one is for "Hop on Pop" a pop-culture trivia night that is free and sure to be lots of fun.
